Why did we form Hearts Without Boundaries? Why do we, as volunteers, travel to remote areas around the globe, sacrifice the precious times we have with our families, expend our limited energies, and donate our hard-worked-for earnings?

It isn't hard to understand.

The call to volunteer--be it one’s time or money--comes from the heart. Compassion is what makes us human; caring for one another is what gives meaning to our lives.
